Compiled and edited by K Keary, London Frederick Warne and Co, Bedford Street, Strand. Historian - 'They were handed to children. Made possible by developments in colour printing that made them relatively cheap to make. Made a lovely keepsake for somebody. Reflects that the population were becoming much more literate. The book contains spiritual thoughts for each day and colour illustrations for each one.' |
