He was playing majong with this artist 42 years ago – the artist gave Mr Choi the painting as a present. The artist is dead now – he is renowned for painting peonies and, therefore, was given the name ‘King of Peonies’. Framed in Hong Kong. It was taken out of its frame ten years ago when Mr Choi came to live in England. |
