The object is made of boxwood. Good condition. Two-sided and light brown in colour. One side with fine teeth (to get rid of fleas / lice!) and the other has wide teeth. 9.4 x 6.7cm |

History of Artefact |
Most people on the ship would have had one of these. Approximately seventy combs were found – some still had knits in them! The Mary Rose Trust was formed in 1979. There were six hundred people on the ship. It was found at the bow of the ship on the Orlop deck. It was found in the 1978 excavation. The Mary Rose Trust was formed in 1979. |
