History of Artefact |
There should be a 'horn nock' on each end - horn didn’t survive on the ship. It is a genuine Long Bow ordered by Henry VIII. He made it law that everyone had to practise between the ages of seven and seventy. Handguns were coming in at the time. There were 137 complete bows found on the ship. |
