The medals belonged to Mr. Penney who was Mrs Oakley’s neighbour – they mostly relate to sport – they are all linked to Portsmouth. The sports include football, marathons, water-sports, polo and cricket. Some are for winning the competition or they have been awarded as a runners-up prize.
