The price of the magazine was 1 shilling and sixpence (equivalent of 7.5 pence). The image on the front shows the World’s flags. There is also an official taking the oath at the fourteenth Olympiad opening ceremony. On the back cover there is an advert for ‘Longines’ watch company. There is also an entrance ticket to accompany the magazine. ‘It was acquired by my aunt when she went to see the gymnastics at the Olympics.’ |
